CYNTHIA SELLEY
SVP of Human Resources

Cynthia oversees, directs and supports all of Inspyre’s human resource and training functions. In this role, she provides support and direction in developing and implementing company-wide policies and procedures resulting in effective processes for the organization. Cynthia also collaborates with clients to ensure that their recruitment criteria are established–and met–during the selection process; working with the client to outline training requirements and curriculum for initial and ongoing training; and acting as the escalation point for all Human Resource matters.

Prior to joining Inspyre in 2004, Cynthia worked with The Boeing Company for more than 20 years in various disciplines that included marketing, business analysis and product cost analysis. In addition to her expertise in Human Resources, she has several years of experience in Operations Management and Business Development during which time she gained extensive experience in capacity and facility planning, as well as preparing and negotiating technical proposals for commercial and government contracts for both US and Canadian companies.

Some of Cynthia’s more notable accomplishments include: developing and implementing a recruitment process that enabled the company to hire five hundred employees in a two-year time frame; securing more than $4.2 million dollars in government funds for training initiatives; and developing and implementing a highly successful “Return-To-Work” program that resulted in the reduction of lost workdays from 382 to 43 during a one-year period. One of her proudest achievements is directing the development of a Deaf Literacy Program, which won two distinctive awards, the “Canada Post Community Literacy Award” and “The Conference Board of Canada Literacy Award”.

To maintain her expertise in employee/labour relations, recruitment, staff selection, performance evaluation compensation & benefits, safety, health & environmental affairs, communications, security, training & development, Cynthia is a member of: the Human Resource Association of Manitoba, Manitoba Contact Center Association (MCCA), HR People Strategy (formerly Human Resource Planning Society), and on the Advisory Board at the University of Manitoba. In addition, she is a Certified Facilitator, holds a CACE, and is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, as well as Strategic Leadership Program from the Boeing Leadership Center. As a result of her accomplishments, membership and certifications, Cynthia is regularly called upon for speaking engagements to share her expertise and knowledge.
