As Vice President, Finance, Darcy Smith is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and transparency of Inspyre. Darcy joined the company in 2007 and provides the financial infrastructure and analytical support necessary to meet the company’s vision. He is a member of the strategic management team and helps to set both tactical and strategic goals for the company/

Darcy launched his career in the agriculture industry with United Grain Growers, today know as Viterra Inc. During his 12 years there, he held various finance and accounting roles including a lead role in the development of the Treasury operations and the implementation of a specialized Treasury Management software system.

Prior to joining Inspyre, Darcy spent a number of years in the financial services industry and four years in the automotive services industry as Director of Finance and Accounting for a mid-sized dealer group.  He also spent seven years in the customer acquisition, retention and support industry with SR&J Customer Care as head of the accounting and finance areas.
